VillageMall Trade Point Specifications

Communication Standard

VillageMall places the following specifications in the public domain,  to assist in the development and deployment of Internet based trading systems for small businesses. We plan to release client source code and provide a test site, free to small business developers. 

The specifications are at two levels, content and transport.

Content

After extensive research and prototyping, VillageMall has settled on a set of simple business transactions, that will be expanded over time.

Transport

VillageMall has adopted SOAP as the transport specification.
