VillageMall has selected a simple architecture with both online and offline processes, we have not attempted to use inadequate technologies for some of the more complex human interactions that are part of companies establishing trading arrangements.  Within the architecture these process are done a-priory and are represented by the issuance of trading credentials ( Digital Certificates) by one or both of the parties.

The architecture does not require any global infrastructure (registry or security), to exist to support these trading credentials and can scale from 2 parties to any number.

VillageMall does not attempt to standardise business process, but rather the transactional interface between business process of trading partners, these standards are defined within our Internet API specifications.
