THE WEB PORTAL SERVICE
VillageMall's® Web-Mail application is a convenient, full-featured, web-based email program accessible from your portal site. Each user is assigned a personalised email address that either uses our portal or your organisation's intranet address, depending on your requirements.

The Email application allows you to quickly and easily:

  • Exchange email with anyone in the world
  • Conveniently send and receive email while you're doing other work on your Portal

If you have an existing company email address, you can set it as your primary email address, or you can establish a new portal email account to allow you to check your messages from your email server, hence providing web based access to your internal email system.

Instant Messaging or Chat (Optional)
Chat provides a secure instant messaging environment, Web Portal role based access controls can be applied to each chat module. Only authenticated users may access the chat module, and each message is annotated with their registered name.
